From April 2022, confirmation and recording of drunkenness is required as a duty of safe driving managers. Confirmation using an alcohol detector is also planned to be compulsory. The role of alcohol detectors is becoming more and more important as accidents resulting in death or injury due to drunk driving become a social problem.
