The Wi-SUN FAN 1.1 specification, which is a highly enhanced version of Wi-SUN FAN 1.0 while maintaining backward compatibility, is in the final stages of formulation and development by member companies. Wi-SUN Alliance was established in Japan in 2011 and is now a global organization with over 300 members in 46 countries.
