Creating a new future for the logistics industry together with transportation operators

The Transportation Digital Business Council (TDBC) was established in August 2016 with the aim of transforming the transportation industry into a safer, more secure and ecological social infrastructure and contributing to the industry and society.
The transportation industry faces a mountain of pressing issues, including the 2024 problem, soaring fuel costs, labor shortages, waiting times and conventional business practices such as cargo handling. There is a need for industry reforms such as work style reforms, challenges to new initiatives such as MaaS, initiatives for SDGs, CN, and promotion of DX.
At TDBC, cargo/passenger companies such as trucks, taxis, buses, and dump trucks, as well as construction companies, support companies in various industries such as IT, shipper companies, etc., openly discuss beyond the boundaries of companies and industries, and Activities to solve problems with digital technology and new services are practiced in working groups (hereinafter referred to as WG) for each theme and issue.
In this session, we will discuss the activities and results of each WG, traevo, a motion management platform across on-board device manufacturers born from WG activities, business plans for small and medium-sized transportation companies, action plan formulation, and DX solution utilization.
