Platform toward Beyond 5G and 6G era

At present, various application modeling in Beyond 5G/6G age are examined. These various types of applications will be operated on a common "platform" using ICT. One of the keys to develop "platform" successfully is to effectively utilize both public wireless communication systems represented by 5G systems and self-managed wireless communication systems. However, this "platform" should be viewed based on not only the technological trend of the wireless communication but also various technological trends other than the wireless technology, standardization in the communication until now, and success and failure examples of the the standardization and its practical applications. In this presentation, we will look at the prospects for platforms in the Beyond 5G/6G era, based on research results to date and various trends.
