Hiroshi Takeshita joined Rakuten Mobile, Inc. in 2018 and was initially responsible for packet core and domestic roaming deployment at the launch of 4G and 5G NSA services. From November 2020 he started end-to-end network performance assurance and capacity design, before becoming deputy head of network connectivity and product engineering including RAN and Core Network product in August 2021. In his current position since May 2023 Takeshita oversees the Radio Access Network product, network coverage and quality, as well as network performance and capacity.
