Local 5G (a self-employed fifth-generation mobile communications system), which was institutionalized in 2020, is attracting attention as an important infrastructure for realizing digital transformation (DX) in industrial society, and is expected to create new businesses. Introduction and operation costs, which have been issues in the spread of local 5G, are also approaching a period of widespread use as low prices are decreasing.

Since May 2022, NTT East Japan has been offering "Giga Raku 5G," a managed local 5G service that combines total ITO into a single package, with carrier-grade full-scale functions at low cost and from advance procedures to operation. In addition, we are utilizing wireless networks other than local 5G to promote industrial DX and regional revitalization.
