Next-Generation IoT Digital Infrastructure Construction and Service Creation in Mountainous and Mid-Mountainous Areas

In the mountainous regions of Nagano, the installation of base stations by telecommunication companies is challenging, leading to numerous communication-related issues. To address this challenge, Shinshu University constructed communication systems capable of delivering information by combining various communication systems such as Wi-Fi Halow, LPWA, outdoor Wi-Fi, and satellite communication.
