move°S – Silent Motorized Rotation of Artificial Heads
The move°S simulates the acoustic situation for speech and listening which can be changed according to head rotation. The head rotates motor-driven with high accuracy and perfect repeatability while the shoulder remains fixed, and this natural head rotation provides a realistic simulation that approximates actual human behavior. The move°S operates noiselessly and can rotate during measurement. This feature can realize the comprehensive acoustic testing for VR/AR headsets, In-vehicle communication systems,(ICC, hands-free, etc.), Systems with direction-dependent behavior, multi-user conferencing systems and so on.
HMS II.3 ViBRIDGE – Low-noise Artificial Head with Bone-conducted Voice Simulation
HMS II.3 ViBRIDGE is a full-band compatible artificial head measurement system capable of simulating structure-borne (bone-conducted) sound with anatomically accurate reproduction of the ear. Electromechanical actuators embedded in both pinnae accurately simulate structure-borne sound vibrations in sending direction. This low-noise ear simulator features the same impedance characteristics as the human ear. This realizes simulation of both air-borne sound and structure-borne sound of human speech, making it possible to evaluate and optimize headsets in various talking situations, such as in noisy environments.
