Wi-SUN FAN1.1 PHY Certified Wireless SoC - EFR32FG25
EFR32FG25 wireless SoCs are an ideal solution for long range, Sub-GHz wireless connectivity for smart metering, lighting, city and building automation. The inclusion of multi-rate OFDM, FSK, and O-QPSK modulation schemes allows for data rates up to 3.6 Mbps while keeping immunity to 2.4 GHz interference. The large memory footprint and increased IO count allows for design consolidation and when combined with Secure Vault™ can provide higher level system security.

Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Informatics, Professor Hiroshi Harada’s research group (hereinafter “Kyoto University”), jointly with Nissin Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Nissin Systems”) and Nagano Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Nagano Japan Radio”), has developed wireless devices equipped with the new international wireless communication standard for IoT (Internet of Things), Wi-SUN FAN (Field Area Network). These devices have become the first in the world to pass the Wi-SUN FAN 1.1 High Performance certification testing conducted by the Wi-SUN Alliance and have officially obtained certification.
