Wi-SUN Modules-KCM0A5S
KCM0A5S is a high-performance Wi-SUN MCU module provided by Quectel
.
It is powered by an ARM Cortex-M33 core running at up to 97.5MHz and supports the 470–928MHz frequency bands. The module also integrates 256KB RAM and 2MB Flash, delivering excellent processing capability and stable wireless communication performance.
The module is based on Silicon Labs’ EFR32FG25 chipset.
KCM0A5S adopts an ultra-compact LCC package measuring only 28.0mm × 22.0mm × 3.15mm, helping optimize end-product size and reduce overall system cost while enabling flexible integration into various device designs.
In addition, KCM0A5S supports the Wi-SUN FAN 1.1 standard and IPv6-based wireless mesh networking technology. With adaptive frequency hopping and strong anti-interference capability, it delivers high network capacity, long-range communication, enhanced security, and high-speed data transmission.
Its low-power design makes it ideal for battery-powered applications, and it is widely applicable to smart metering (electricity, water, and gas meters), smart street lighting, smart city infrastructure, precision agriculture, and industrial IoT solutions.
