Wireless Digital Twin: Overcoming Connectivity Challenges to Optimize Industrial Environments

Wireless communication networks have become a critical infrastructure for addressing challenges at industrial sites, such as construction zones, logistics warehouses, and factories. However, troubleshooting issues like slow speeds or frequent disconnections remains a complex task even for experts, creating a significant barrier to implementation.

In this session, we will share the benefits and challenges of wireless adoption identified through our experience in providing simulation-based optimal network design. We will also introduce how to effectively leverage "Wireless Digital Twins"—a vital approach for taking full control of wireless environments and driving the future of industrial site operations.

This seminar will be presented only in Japanese with no interpretation.

Propagation and System-Level Simulation for NTN ーFocusing on Satellite Communication Simulation Using "NTN-Studio" ー

To realize Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), including satellites and High-Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS), which are key to Beyond 5G/6G, highly accurate preliminary evaluation is essential to address dynamic topology changes and complex propagation environments.
In this webinar, KOZO KEIKAKU ENGINEERING Inc. presents its latest comprehensive solutions for NTN deployment, covering radio wave propagation analysis, system-level evaluation, and hardware integration using OpenAirInterface (OAI).
The session also introduces our dedicated satellite communication simulator, "NTN-Studio," and demonstrates precise availability evaluation methods, including Line-of-Sight (LOS) analysis using 3D terrain data, link budget calculations, and ray-tracing techniques, supported by practical case studies.
.
■ Target Audience
• Engineers involved in the deployment, design, and R&D of NTN and satellite communication systems.
• Professionals facing challenges in link budget evaluation within complex radio wave propagation environments.
• Those interested in dynamic control of the network layer and protocol verification (e.g., EXata/OAI integration).
