As AI continues to advance at an accelerating pace and society grows increasingly complex, our society is steadily moving toward an AI‑native paradigm. Realizing this shift requires a communications infrastructure that can reliably support real‑time AI inference and collaboration, and can be trusted as critical social infrastructure.

Takashi Sato joined NEC Corporation in 1993 and has built his career in the telecommunications network domain, including software development and IP telephony. He served as General Manager of the Digital Service Solutions Business Division and later as President and CEO of NEC Communication Systems. Since 2023, he has been Corporate Senior Vice President and Head of the Network Solutions Business Division, leading NEC’s end-to-end network solutions business across mobile, core, and optical networks.
