Beyond Token Health Checks: e-Medication Records & Expert Collaboration for Bulletproof Transport Safety
【Health Management Blind Spots】 In transportation, minor lapses like missed doses or treatment interruptions can trigger major accidents. Yet verbal screenings and paper logs often hide true adherence and banned-drug use. Since 2021, audits at 80 companies and 110 sites exposed this “invisible risk.”
【Innovative Solution】 We use an electronic medication record to capture dosing in real time, automatically flagging driving-prohibited prescriptions. Onsite nurses provide self-care guidance and adherence follow-up, enabling early anomaly detection. Collaborating with pharmacists and occupational physicians for prescription reviews brings health risks into clear focus, preventing incidents.
【Benefits and Credibility】 Our framework also supports Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization certification, boosting employee confidence and corporate credibility. Quantitative results—improved missed-dose detection, zero banned-drug intake, and fewer health-related stoppages—strengthen a safety-first culture.
【Future Outlook】 By converting invisible risks into actionable data and integrating expert insights, we’ll build a sustainable transport safety system. Let’s move beyond surface checks to a new standard where every driver operates with confidence.

Yosuke Sano
After graduating from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Meiji Pharmaceutical University, I spent four years at Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. as a Medical Representative (MR) selling to physicians. During that time I received honors such as the President’s Award for Excellence, while also driving roughly 200 km every day—even on snowy roads and in blizzard conditions—which gave me, as an ordinary driver, a keen awareness of the dangers of driving and the importance of accident prevention.
I then joined M3, a leading medical-IT venture, where I served as Director and Head of New Business. After that, I was appointed Head of New Business Development at en-Japan Inc. I’m currently General Manager of the Business Consulting Department within the Business Development Headquarters at harmo Inc., concurrently serving in the CEO Office at CMIC Holdings Co., Ltd.
